Volunteering at The Medical Center of Aurora

Volunteers help make our hospital run smoothly. Appearing across numerous departments, our volunteer program provides valuable insight into the many levels of hospital operations.

Volunteer qualifications

The volunteer application process takes approximately three-to-four weeks to complete. Acceptance into our program is contingent upon receipt of a completed application, a reference, an interview, a statement of health, as well as a background check (for those 18 years or older).

Please note that all volunteers will be given a tuberculosis (TB) test one time per year. The TB test must come back negative before a volunteer placement can begin.

Once a completed application has been received, a time will be established to for a phone interview with the Director of Volunteer Services.

You may also call our volunteer office at (303) 695-2838 to request an application.
