Visitor restrictions

Your safety is our priority

Here at The Colorado Blood Cancer Institute, we strive to be the First Choice for patients to receive innovative compassionate care and benefit from vast research for blood cancers.

To ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues we have implemented the following visitor restrictions as of November 1, 2021:

All caregivers and others accompanying patients in clinic must be fully vaccinated. We define vaccination as having received the final recommended dose no less than two weeks previously. All caregivers and all non-patient visitors to the clinic will be required to show proof of full vaccination every clinic visit.

COVID-19 remains a major threat

This policy is based on recent resurgence of COVID-19 throughout the United States and within our catchment area. Our patients face extremely high risk of complications or death from COVID-19 and we must work together to protect them as best as we can.

Additional accommodations

We understand the hardship this policy may cause for many families. Should vaccination be unavailable to you for any reason, please speak with clinic staff to explore alternative ways to participate in visits including telephone/video inclusion in visits.

Commitment to excellence

CBCI has a committee dedicated to COVID-19 policy development which meets on a regular basis. As conditions and available information change, we update our approaches to ensure we are taking the most appropriate steps to keep our patients safe and cared for. Should you have any questions about the above policy, please direct them to the clinic at (720) 754-4800.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for your cooperation.
