The Medical Center of Aurora, the first community hospital in the Denver Metro area to receive two-time Magnet designation for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is an acute care hospital with specialization in cardiovascular services, neurosciences, surgery, orthopedics and women’s services.
The Medical Center of Aurora is comprised of four campuses:
- The Main Campus facility, located at I-225 and Mississippi Avenue, is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation, serving the eastern metro area and I-70 corridor.
- The North Campus facility, located at I-225 and 6th Avenue, houses the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center which offers inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs for Adults, Adolescents and Seniors, as well as outpatient imaging services.
- Centennial Hospital, located in Centennial, Colorado, is a free-standing ER and offers outpatient surgical services, outpatient imaging, and Colorado Breast Care, a women's health center.
- Saddle Rock ER is located in southeast Aurora (E-470 and Gartrell Road) and is a free-standing ER. In addition to emergency services, Saddle Rock ER offers outpatient X-ray and CT scan services.
A medical office building in Green Valley Ranch houses additional outpatient imaging services under the umbrella of The Medical Center of Aurora.
