About Burn and Reconstructive Center at Swedish Medical Center
The Burn and Reconstructive Center at Swedish Medical Center offers the only Level I Trauma Center with a dedicated burn unit in the South Metro Denver area, treating pediatric and adult patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
The center combines 24/7 surgical care, a dedicated inpatient burn critical care unit, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and an outpatient clinic. Our highly-experienced team of surgeons and staff work with each patient to create a customized treatment plan for their unique needs.
Burn treatment and microvascular surgical reconstruction
We treat all manner of burns, frostbite, drug reaction with eosinophilia, Fournier's gangrene, necrotizing fasciitis, staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and other skin disorders.
Our specially-trained surgeons offer complex microvascular surgery for reconstruction due to burns, cancer, and traumatic limb injuries. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment including hand and wrist surgery, brachial plexus reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, replantation, and targeted muscle reinnervation.
