About HealthONE Behavioral Health and Wellness Center at Ken Caryl

When you or a loved one has a behavioral health need, turn to the experts at HealthONE Behavioral Health and Wellness Center at Ken Caryl in Denver's southwest suburbs. We provide specialized outpatient programs for teens and adults that give essential support and education when it's most needed.

Adolescent behavioral health services

Our adolescent behavioral health program serves patients between 12 years old and 17 years old. Designed specifically for the unique needs of preteens and teens, this program offers a safe environment and flexible treatment options.

The adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides a wide array of structured therapy and evidence-based practices. Interventions include support in developing new life skills, practicing emotional regulation, building positive relationships, and creating positive coping strategies. We aim to help your teen master tools to become resilient and balanced in their decision-making. We empower the youth in our program by allowing them to participate in the program during the day but enjoy the freedom to return home in the evening.

Our program is helpful for those with issues related to:

  • Addictions
  • Anger outbursts
  • Anxiety
  • Crisis management
  • Depression
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Difficulty verbalizing thoughts and ideas
  • Isolation from others
  • Management of daily living skills
  • Medication management
  • Self-injury

Participants must be physically healthy and not at immediate risk of harm to themselves or others.

Adolescent groups are held Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 6:30pm (summer hours 12:00 to 3:00pm) at the Ken Caryl location. Please call (303) 368-2080 to schedule an assessment.

Adult behavioral health services

Our adult behavioral health program serves adults ages 18 years old and older who need support to find mental and emotional balance. We help our participants learn coping methods that support healthy lives.

Our adult intensive outpatient program (IOP) teaches tools to help adults find stability, healing and growth. It also offers the flexibility necessary to continue fulfilling personal and professional commitments outside of the program.

Our program often includes:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Dialectical behavioral therapy for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Interpersonal effectiveness training
  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Life skills

You must be physically healthy and not at immediate risk of harm to yourself or others.

Adult IOP groups are offered Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Ken Caryl location. A minimum of three sessions per week is required.

To learn more about additional mental health services, including inpatient and more intensive therapeutic options, call (844) 556-2012 or visit the HealthONE Behavioral Wellness and Wellness Center.

Women’s IOP

The women’s intensive outpatient program provides an intermediate level of care for women with needs too complex for individual therapy alone, but that does not warrant inpatient hospitalization. Our mental health therapists provide an interdisciplinary treatment team that integrates the latest clinical research to provide treatment specifically addressing practical challenges women face in everyday life. The goal of our program is to help women along their personalized wellness journey.

Facilitated by a female clinical team, we work with your current support system of family and friends to make sure you have a community supporting you on your journey. We aim to empower you by helping you develop coping mechanisms designed to improve your daily life skills.

Women’s IOP groups are offered Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Ken Caryl location. A minimum of three sessions per week is required.
