Wound care

Wound care involves medical interventions to heal a wound after injury. Specialized treatment is provided for wounds that are nonhealing or refuse to heal on their own. A vital aspect of treatment includes learning how to properly dress and care for a wound.

Hyperbaric chamber

HBOT involves breathing oxygen inside of a pressurized hyperbaric chamber that helps your lungs collect more oxygen. By laying inside the chamber and breathing in 100% pure oxygen, you are able collect more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. As you breathe in this oxygen, it carries through your body to promote faster healing via angiogenesis, or, the creation of blood vessels that transport nutrients and oxygen to areas with poor circulation.

A small group of diagnoses qualify for HBOT, including diabetic foot ulcers and bone infections.
