The DAISY Foundation is an international recognition program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary, compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. We are proud to recognize Lauren Morelli, RN, Cardiac ICU with this special honor.

In nominating Lauren, one of her patients’ family members wrote, “She (not unlike the entire team) is the very walking definition of patient-centered medicine, and her ability to deal with someone in the throes of true crisis is commendable. She not only listened, but heard me, validated my feelings, quelled my fears and expressed true and vulnerable concern for what we were going through. The world needs more people the likes of Lauren, and I am humbled to have been in her presence.”

Thank you, Lauren, for exemplifying our promise to Care Like Family.

Lauren Morelli and her team hold a banner congratulating her for being a daisy award honoree
