Kate and Ben share about their experience with Doula Bethany and giving birth to their second child.
This was our second child but our first experience with a birth doula and I will sing it from the rooftop to every mama, that you should do yourself the favor of getting a birth doula — especially Bethany.
From the beginning of the process Bethany sent us lots of great evidence based resources to help us develop a birth plan and prepare for labor. I don't think I could have carried out a medication free birth without her support and skills in natural pain management techniques. Even when we were thrown a curveball to our plan by having to be induced, Bethany helped us work through it while sticking to our goals and guiding us through a quick, safe and healthy birth of our son. We are beyond grateful she was there with us.
