Our maternity services

Our obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs), midwives, maternal-fetal specialists and experienced caregivers support you throughout your pregnancy. Additionally, as a full-service hospital, we are prepared to handle any complications that may arise during pregnancy or childbirth to help ensure a safe, healthy experience for you and your baby.

Midwife and obstetric services

We understand every expectant mother has a unique vision for her pregnancy and childbirth. That is why we offer midwifery services as part of our prenatal care program. A midwife can provide prenatal care and labor and delivery support for you, consulting with an OB/GYN if necessary.

If you need help finding an OB/GYN or finding a midwife, call us and speak to a team member at (720) 754-6000.

High-risk pregnancy care

In addition to routine prenatal care, we offer high-risk pregnancy care. If your pregnancy is considered high risk due to an underlying health condition, advanced maternal age or any other reason, we help ensure you and your baby stay healthy throughout your pregnancy and delivery.

Pregnancy after 35 years old

Expectant mothers 35 years old or older are considered to be of "advanced maternal age." However, a healthy pregnancy is possible for most of these women with proper preparation and routine prenatal care.

One strategy for reducing many risks associated with advanced maternal age is to schedule a preconception visit with us. During this visit, we can diagnose and begin treating any preexisting conditions that could affect your upcoming pregnancy. This is important because the risk for pregnancy complications increase after you are 35 years old. The steps you take to prepare ahead of time are an important part of your pregnancy journey.

Maternity classes and childbirth preparation

Whether you are a first-time or seasoned parent, we offer a variety of resources and classes to help you prepare for your little one's arrival.

Childbirth classes

Our live virtual prenatal preparation classes range from childbirth preparation to infant safety. (Classes are subject to date and time changes.)

Class cancellations

Should you need to cancel your class registration, please call (844) 630-5295 as soon as possible. Notification of your cancellation must be received at least three days (not including the class date) prior to the start date of the class. If cancellation or a change is requested less than three days (not including the class date) prior, we will not be able to offer a refund.

Maternity tours

We invite you to join us for a maternity tour, so you can get to know us and our facilities better before your delivery day. This is a free, 60-minute virtual guided tour of our labor and delivery area and our mom and baby (postpartum care) units. During the tour, you will discover all the comfortable accommodations we have to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. We will also tell you about:

  • Parking and where to enter the hospital
  • Visitor restrictions
  • Comfort measures during and after birth
  • How we care for you if complications arise
  • Our focus on family-centered care
  • Various, related hospital procedures

We encourage you to schedule the tour once you are six months pregnant.
