About Marcello Rotta, MD
Marcello Rotta, MD is an Assistant Member Physician at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute. He Joined CBCI in 2016. Here he serves as Co-Director of the Leukemia Service, and on the Long Term Follow up Service. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Dr Rotta was born and raised in Torino, Italy, close to the Alps. His father worked for FIAT car factory as an engineer, and his mother was a philosophy teacher.

Patient care is my passion and my calling. Cancer is a terrifying experience that profoundly changes the life of patients and their families. My role is to care for people with cancer diagnosis, to help and support them and their family to get through this, to provide them information and guidance and on all treatment options available, with the ultimate goal to go back to the trajectory of their life.
