Brain tumor treatments

Depending on your unique situation, our brain tumor specialists may provide any of the following treatments for your condition:

Stereotactic radiosurgery

Stereotactic radiosurgery delivers doses of pinpointed radiation to treat brain tumors and other neurological diseases with minimal damage to normal brain tissue. These treatments are noninvasive, virtually painless, have no serious side effects and are completed in a matter of hours as a safe, reliable outpatient procedure.

Often referred to as “knifeless” brain surgery this procedure is available at our HCA HealthONE Swedish location, and provides a unique path for treating formerly inoperable tumors. After the procedure, you are typically discharged within 12 hours and can return to your preoperative lifestyle the following day. Stereotactic radiosurgery is also covered by Medicare and most insurance providers.
