Maternity classes we offer

Classes can begin at any time in your pregnancy. However, we recommend completing your maternity classes four to six weeks before your due date. Remember to register for classes early to ensure the classes you want are available.

Some of the classes we offer include:

  • Breastfeeding preparation
  • Childbirth preparation
  • Understanding infant and child safety

Breastfeeding preparation

Breastfeeding Preparation is a three-hour class covering what you need to know about breastfeeding, from nursing techniques to which breast pumps work best.

We also offer an Understanding Breastfeeding eClass. In this online class, you will learn all about breastfeeding and get to hear real experiences from breastfeeding moms—all from the comfort of your own home.

Childbirth preparation

The Childbirth Preparation Series consists of four classes, which take place over a period of four weeks. In this series, we will discuss comfort techniques, medical procedures and the stages of labor and delivery.

Understanding infant and child safety

Our Understanding Infant and Child Safety eClass is an online class to help you learn how to keep your child safe beginning the day they are born. The class covers topics such as how to prevent accidents and how to be prepared for an emergency.

Weekly pregnancy and childbirth newsletter

As you prepare for childbirth, we invite you to join our pregnancy and early childhood newsletter. Through this program, we will connect with you each week to make sure you have additional support on your journey into parenthood.

This program is free and includes customized information and resources based on your specific stage of pregnancy and your little one's age. The program is provided throughout pregnancy and into the toddler years.
