For more than 100 years, HCA HealthONE Swedish has been a Hampden Avenue landmark. The community of Englewood and the surrounding areas have been turning to Swedish not only for exceptional healthcare, but also for career opportunities. The team culture at Swedish is storied and unique: Many of our colleagues were born at the hospital or have family history of employment. How long have you worked at Swedish?

Two months now.

What do you love about working at Swedish?

I love my amazing coworkers, bosses and cardiologists.

What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My mother; I am somewhat following in her footsteps.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

My teachers at CVIU in Mobile, AL. I would not know as much as I do now if they weren’t as hardworking and caring as they are.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I spend time with my girls, play video games and cook.

Where did you grow up and what’s your favorite thing about that place?

I grew up in Alabama. My favorite things there are the food and beaches.

If money weren’t a factor, what would you be doing right now?

Traveling the world.
