Infusion therapy

Infusion therapy refers to a treatment method in which medications are delivered directly into the bloodstream. It may be used to treat everything from neurological conditions to various types of cancer.

We want your cancer treatments to be as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Most aspects of cancer are difficult, but Sky Ridge Medical Center's oncology program does everything they can to make it simple to access high-quality infusion services. All of our infusion services, including blood transfusions and draws, are offered at our main hospital location.

Our infusion therapy program

Designed with our patients in mind, our infusion center has experienced staff available to help you get the lifesaving cancer treatments you need.

Infusion services

Our relaxing facility also offers drug treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer. Medications may be delivered intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (under the skin).

Some of the services you can receive here include:

  • Blood product transfusions (packed red blood cells, platelets and fresh frozen plasma)
  • Drug infusions (antibiotics, iron products and others)
  • Fluid hydration
  • Subcutaneous/intramuscular injections
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy

Where to find our infusion department

Our infusion services department is located on the garden level of the hospital. Enter through the women’s hospital entrance and follow the hallway signs to Infusion Services.

You can use the free valet parking at our cancer center from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Our hours of operation

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
