At our Center for Maternal-Fetal Health, we offer experienced and compassionate high-risk pregnancy care.
Maternal-fetal health program
Our Center for Maternal-Fetal Health provides high-risk pregnancy care in collaboration with referring OB/GYNs. Patients may be referred to our program for additional monitoring and care due to a condition affecting the expectant mother or a condition that developed in the baby (or babies).
Many women are referred for high-risk care because of pre-existing health conditions, advanced maternal age (mothers 35 years old and older), or conditions that arise during pregnancy. Our specialized physician and support staff are highly experienced in providing a full spectrum of maternal-fetal care — from preconception to labor and delivery.

Antepartum unit
Sometimes you may need to spend more time in our hospital so your OB/GYN or midwife can keep a closer eye on your pregnancy. In these cases, our welcoming, modern inpatient antepartum unit provides you with upgraded rooms and special amenities for a comfortable stay.
Each of our antepartum rooms is spacious, bright, and private. Your OB/GYN can check on you there, and we offer round-the-clock coverage by our maternal fetal medicine doctors (also called high-risk pregnancy doctors or perinatologists).
Gestational diabetes program
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Although not all high-risk pregnancies lead to a baby spending time in the NICU, some do next extra support after birth. Our hospital is equipped with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), so your baby can receive the attentive, gentle care they need to grow healthy and strong.

A high-risk pregnancy can be overwhelming. We understand this feeling and offer you coordinated care from high-risk patient navigators.
What does a pregnancy nurse navigator do?
From your initial diagnosis through delivery, your assigned patient navigator serves as your advocate, educator and supporter.
Your navigator also acts as a central point of contact, helping to coordinate care and communication among your care team, including specialists, OB/GYNs, surgeons, therapists and nursing staff.
