As a certified Primary Stroke Center, we provide rapid, lifesaving stroke care in our emergency room (ER) 24/7. Here, patients receive prompt, coordinated stroke treatment from a team of neurologists and specially trained nurses and technicians.

Additionally, our ER staff works with area emergency medical services (EMS) providers to identify stroke patients before the ambulance arrives at the hospital. Because of this coordinated care, our staff is ready to quickly provide the appropriate intervention as soon as the patient's ambulance arrives.

Signs of a stroke

Fast medical intervention is critical when someone is having a stroke. Seek emergency medical care if you notice any of the following stroke symptoms:
