Our vascular surgery program

Our vascular surgery program is recognized as a leader in the diagnosis and management of vascular diseases. With fellowship-trained vascular surgeons, a hybrid OR and a state-of-the-art cardiovascular lab and diagnostic services, we excel at treating more common conditions as well as rare disorders of the vascular system.

Surgical treatment for vascular disease

Our vascular surgeons are experienced in treating the full spectrum of vascular diseases and disorders, from peripheral artery disease (PAD) to aortic aneurysms. They work as a team with other specialists, such as cardiologists and neurosurgeons, to coordinate care and treat the whole body, not just the vascular system.

Features of our vascular care program include:

  • Offers 24/7 vascular surgeon coverage
  • Performs procedures such as peripheral vascular occlusion, peripheral vascular bypass and arterial access
  • Provides interventional technology for enhanced capacity to rapidly treat major trauma and hemorrhage
  • Treats major vascular conditions using minimally invasive techniques

Our vascular surgeons perform minimally invasive surgery whenever possible. This type of surgery requires smaller incisions, resulting in less scarring, reduced blood loss and fewer complications and, ultimately, faster recovery.

Our hybrid OR suite

For more complex vascular care, our specialists can perform surgery in our hybrid OR suite. We are proud to be the only hospital in the area to offer this sophisticated treatment option for our vascular patients.

This hybrid operation suite combines the capabilities of a traditional OR with advanced imaging equipment, allowing our vascular surgeons to perform both interventional procedures and more complex surgeries in the same location.

Our hybrid OR suite

In our hybrid OR suite our vascular surgeons can perform procedures that require multiple specialties all in one place.
